I work primarily in painting, building images through layering, revision, and interruption.

The process is deliberately open. Images are built up, shifted, partially obscured, and reworked over time. Some elements are reinforced, others erased or destabilised. The final image is not always planned in advance, but emerges through accumulation and adjustment.

Alongside painting, I use photography and other process-based experiments as source material and points of departure. These works feed into the paintings, shaping how images are introduced, disrupted, and reworked.

I’m interested in how images change when they’re handled repeatedly. How meaning drifts, surfaces degrade, and clarity gives way to ambiguity.
